Seven reasons one lead covers the whole walk

One dog, one line, both hands free. A bungee takes the first pull, a belt bag carries what the walk needs, and a padded traffic handle brings your dog to your side at the kerb.

This is a lead and a belt in one piece. The elastic gives before your shoulder does, the pouch holds the treats and the keys, and the lower handle shortens the line without a re-clip.

The bungee gives before you do

Elastic in the line takes the first reach of a lunge and returns it gently, running from 51 to 68 inches. A sudden stop becomes a soft pull at the hip rather than a jolt up the arm.

A padded traffic handle at the kerb

The lower loop brings your dog to your side in one movement, then hands the length back when the pavement opens. It is neoprene padded, so it stays soft when wet and does not harden in the cold.

A belt bag that comes off

The zip pouch holds treats, keys and bags, and detaches from the belt entirely when you want the weight gone. Nothing is sewn in that you cannot take off.

The load lands at the hip

The adjustable waist belt takes the pull where the body carries weight without thinking about it. Your shoulders stay square, and both hands stay free for the gate, the coffee and the phone.

Two rings, so the line follows the dog

Sliding zinc alloy D-rings let the line run in whichever direction the dog chooses. A single fixed ring turns a circling dog into a knot in three steps.

Hardware that holds under a lunge

The trigger snap swivels a full turn and is tested to 200 lb of pull force. The webbing is double stitched along both edges and rated 4 of 5 for chew resistance, because a lead spends time in a mouth as well as a hand.

A thread that answers headlights

Reflective stitching runs the length of the line and the belt. In headlights it reads as a bright thread across the road rather than a dark shape at your feet.

Against a basic lead

A standard lead is a strap with a clip. The difference is in what it does at the moment a dog decides to move faster than you.
